I've not seen any info on this in a couple years - what's the story? Does Webcite archive a copy to Internet Archive?

If I use WebCite when I cite a reference/catalog it is there another copy some place to protect it from WebCite going away?

Same question, as WebCite's home page says:
"WebCite will stop accepting new submissions end of 2013, unless we reach our fundraising goals"

curious how the Website and the Archive work together.
